This aims to significantly enhance Nigeria’s current yam production, which stands at 61 million metric tons, according to the United Nations Food Agency. This large-scale production will address local food demands and boost yam exports, positioning Nigeria as a major player in the global yam market.
The success of the carnival is largely dependent on partnerships with both the private and public sectors.
