The association’s mission is to advance the development, harmonisation, and maintenance of regulatory frameworks ensuring free trade in the animal nutrition market, focusing on quality, safety, and food security.

New leadership and regulatory talks

Roberto Betancourt, the newly elected president, brings a wealth of experience, having served as the president of the Brazilian Feed Industry Association (Sindirações) and as a board member of the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF).

The Latin American Workshop on Regulatory Affairs, a cornerstone event organized by Feedlatina, will take place on August 7-8, 2024, in São Paulo, hosted jointly with SIAVS, the International Animal Protein Trade Show.

Talks at the event will encompass crucial aspects such as product registration, regulations for feed plants, and antimicrobial resistance.
